Managing a uniform mapping process of the healthcare organizations’ data for creating a uniform medical registry – as part of the Eitan Project.

Uniform mapping of the clinical terminology used by healthcare organizations as part of the Eitan Project, to provide a uniform clinical registry to be used by the healthcare websites that is comprised of uniform terminology.

Project Objectives

Managing a uniform mapping process for all clinical terminology used by healthcare organizations, as part of the Eitan Project. This enables a uniform clinical registry that can be used by healthcare websites and that includes uniform terminology.

The Work Process

The data mapping process for uniform terminology was conducted by a team of clinical experts with the help of a mapping tool that was provided by the Ministry of Health.
The project was led by the Ministry of Health in cooperation with the Headquarters for the National Digital Israel Initiative at the Ministry for Social Equality.

The project entailed mapping clinical terms that had been written in medical files (without any identifying data) for the fields of diagnostics, actions, medication, and laboratory testing (chemistry and hematology).

After completing the mapping of the historical data received, we are continuing to provide the customer with a range of services, including submitting the conducted mapping for the approval of the sites, while continuing to map ongoing data.
