This agricultural company is renowned for its excellent quality and range of fresh, frozen, and processed poultry products. The company executes the entire production chain while complying with strict international standards and regulation.

Project Objectives

Implementation a Microsoft Dynamics ERP system that will support the organization’s goals and needs for dealing with the fast-paced and dynamic poultry market in Israel. Of Tov includes 3 main areas of activities: Farming Division, Produce Division, and Food Processing Plant.
The project was planned to be executed in stages over a 3-year period.

Anagal Next replaced the IT system in each of the three divisions. The project included finance, pricing, budget, inventory, WMS, and maintenance.
In the Produce Division, the project included the entire production array with the implementation of the MES (production floor) system.

The main challenge was dealing with the dynamics of an organization that receives live poultry in the morning and distributes packaged foods that same night. We had to replace hundreds of private programs and software that had been implemented over the past four decades into one central integrative system.

  • The strategy included three main stages that incorporated several intermediate ones – so as not to burden the organization with a sudden “big bang” change. As part of the implementation process, we were able to reduce the budget by focusing on the systems’ Best Practices.

  • We managed the change throughout the project, from specifications and settings, through implementation, to complete launch, while providing ongoing consultancy and solutions as needed. The main changes were made to the distribution system and produce inventory management.

  • In addition, a BI system was implemented following the system launch, suited especially to the marketing, distribution, and finance, and later also to the production, pricing, and budgets.

The cross-organizational solution that was developed and implemented provides the management team with operational and managerial tools, including monitoring, planning, and control tools.

Anagal Next met the predefined schedules and budgets, enabling the customer to launch their operations on time.
